    I know the suction cups you refer to, was the only way to record phone calls back in the early/mid 80's. A few years separate us in life, so the discrepancies are consitent.

    My first use of DSL was in the mid 90's, which is why I stuck with it until I went 100% cable. Streaming came about and DSL didn't cut it anymore, even if it was just youtube and such. Only reason a phone wire runs from a pole to my house, about as ancient as having a digital pet.... :lol:

    In 7th grade must have been 1979 in the math class room we had 2 computers with the phone in the suction cup holders will never forget the math teacher telling us some day you will all have computers in your house, for what we all thought.
