    To me, hearing someone say “bob wire” is like hearing someone say “nuc-yuh-ler” instead of nuclear.

    It’s sort of like reading a post about someone hunting a deer scrap.

    I guess this should go in the rant thread. :lol:

    Lol, rural Idaho will drive you crazy then. I was probably in my late teens before I realized it wasn't actually called bobwire.
    You'll get looked at weird here if you actually say barbed wire, it's worse than saying creek instead of crick for crying out loud! :lol:
    Then they'll probably accuse you of being a California transplant (their worst insult BTW).
    I hear you though. I had an old boss that would always say specifically as "pacifically". Drove me crazy.
