Something got moved? Nocking point seems the obvious suspect since it was removed. Just a bit of advice... always measure/mark your nock and rest positions before you let anyone touch your bow.

The rest might not be dropping fast enough either, check that also.

QAD makes a couple different models, but it is the hunter I believe that does not have a breaking system in it stopping it from bouncing back up on release. Your bow may have also picked up a few FPS with the new string too. Good luck on your prob and hope this helps.

yes and the hunter is the one i have on it but, it just makes me wonder a little bit because it was fine before i put the new string and cables on it, i guess it is possable for it to pick up a lil bit of speed

If you trust him take it back to him.
It could be something really simple.
Don't read more into it than what it is until you know for sure.

All it is is the timing on your rest, the cable/string that comes from the rest and attaches to your cable on your bow is to lose. tighten it up a bit and you will be fine. I cant remeber off the top of my head but i think the quad rest should come all the way up when you are 2" away from full draw (as a bench mark). either way, its quick and easy to fix, if you arent comfortable doing it yourself have your tech do it, he should have no problem at all doing it.

I think the cord should be tied off to the down cable near the bottom of the grip and tight enough to come to full upright at the last inch of draw.

i think another reference point is the string that pulls the arm up should be at a 45 degree downward angle before the bow is drawn

I had the same problem with the low end QAD model on a bowtech assassin, took it in and the tech told me they had found that the rest was bouncing back causing problems. To prove his point GAVE me a new QAD LD rest and that solved my problem completely

alright ya im going to try and head in there this tuesday to see what he thinks about it, im thinking it might come down to that but it just kinda makes it hard to belive that putting on a new string and cable would make it do that
