I'm trying to replace the fletching on my arrows but am having an issue removing the old vanes. I used non acetone finger nail polish remover and mineral spirits to clean them off. Am I damaging the carbon fiber or will the arrow be good to go.

    Thanks

I use a stripper tool , then wipe them down with acetone , done deal ready to rock , if you dont have a stripper tool a razor blade will work fine just watch you dont gouge the shafts .

I just use the stripper and then steelwool. Rub with clean cloth, ready to fletch. I've yet to have a vane come off, and I use a WB. :tu:

just take a knife and scrape the old off then use a solvent to clean and put the new on. just put sure to angle your knife and dont push down and you should stay right on top of the carbon and not damage the shaft at all. done thousands this way.
