Ok the arrow guys lol I have a question about fletching, this year I'm changing my arrow set up now 100% sure what arrows I'll be using but I want the weight to about 425grains total weight, so I've always used 2inch blazer vanes and nothing else but I'm thinking about going to a 3inch vane for better flight, better broadhead flight (also thinking about just using fixed heads this year maybe ramcats 100g) and over all better arrow flight at a longer distance. What do you guys think or what seems to work the best you think. Thanks

All I use is fixed blades and 2" Blazers on a helical (AZ EZ Fletch mini) and get excellent flight. I have tried them all and keep coming back to Blazers.

It is good for out to 50-60 yards not saying I will shoot a deer that far but I would like to practice out that far and a little farther

I shoot to 55 at home. I would practice farther but I can't without being on my neighbors property.

I use to stand behind 2" blazers a couple seasons ago....but when I made the switch from mechanical heads to fixed I gave the 3" Norway Fusion Vanes a try and I have not one complaint thus far. I have heard of people saying they always have to fix them because they do not adhere as well as other vanes, but I have never had this problem..only time I have had to replace a vane is when I shoot one off accidentally which is def my fault for not shooting at another spot! In terms of stability and flight characteristics they do well for me. I shoot a 490gr arrow with a 12.6% FOC with fixed 100gr Solid Broadheads (both .5 and.75 bleeders) and my arrows fly great out to 60 yards. Ordering up some of the 125gr Solids with .5 bleeders very soon and will see with the larger profile they have how they fly in comparison to the 100 grains with these vanes, because they do have a slightly lower profile. I am not too worried about it though because how well they fly now and always keeping my bow in tune...I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Here is a arrow I fletched with them:

I really like them a lot and they are the kind I had my eye on too, and you get clearance with the QAD HDX? I get it with my fletching but not a lot.

AAE Max Hunters get my vote. I was shooting out to 90 and sticking them all 8 arrows in one of the small rinehart mini balls.

Clearance is no issue at all with my HDX, they do have a slightly lower profile to them. Also clear my cable better than the Blazers did.

Man I bet they do fly good with that off set you have. You don't have any problems with you shooting 400 and being that long?
