Hey all, I have an insanity with a NAP Carbon rest (signature). The arrows are blue streaks with 2 inch blazers. I did refletch these with 3 degree right helical. My problem is that a fletching is contacting the right arrow holder on the riser (pictured). It does not occur on every shot. I do not think it is torquing the bow. I did inspect the arrows and they're all fletched consistently and indexed the same. The fletching that is hitting is the cock vane which in my case is pointing vertically. Any suggestions?
Since it doesn't happen every time, is it the same arrow that does?? Perhaps slowly rotating the nock one way or the other ever so slightly will eliminate it?
Looking at my blazers i think almost all the arrows do it. Even then, I dont want to be that critical about vane indexing. Just wondering if someone else has had the same. I am going to look for a more low profile holder. Until then, I'll just Fitz it.
It sounds like your nock is just a tad high. You shouldn't have any problems with those arrows and rest. It is certainly a tuning issue. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
I posted this yesterday for someone else but sounds like you have the same problem. This video should show it but shows for someone with a nock point to low. Yours is the same problem just opposite. Your nock point is to high.
Have u paper tuned your bow since you refletched your arrows. They will shoot different. Plus I put my cock fletching slighty at angle on my carbon rest. That might help also. Really don't need a cock fletching with a drop away. If its set up properly. Mine is paper tuned and no interference with 2" quikspins. With no helical though. Tyler Rector BHOD prostaff
Where does the arrow run through the berger hole??? Your nock point might not be to high, you might just have the rest & the nock point set to low to get enough clearance...You might have to raise both up a tad bit.
