Ha, I must be the only guy that uses plain ol' super glue. I use the Loc Tite brand gel and have been for going on 5 years without a single issue. Plus, its only 3 bucks a bottle at wal mart.

Muzzyman, I am with you.. Used Fletchtite Platnium before and for some reason, my Blazer vanes would fly off after about 50 shots.. And yes, I cleaned the shaft very well before putting them on.. Dunno what was happening and couldnt figure it out, so I switched.. I hear it is really good though...

$3 a bottle?! I'm paying about $6 for a 1/2 PINT of FletchTite Platinum. That'd last most guys a lifetime.

Thanks guys. I am trying to decide if I want to fletch my arrows or just use the NAP quickfletches.

Ha, you might be right, but I fletch about once a year and the dang bottle will dry up before I use it again.

I use a Bitz jig and am fletching one at a time. I like the instant glues for speed. Give me an hour and I'll have a dozen fletched up with wraps and ready to shoot.

Good point on using the single jig. I'm using the 6 arrow Jo-Jan. By the time I'm done setting the 6th I can go back and start again at arrow #1 with FletchTite. That gets me through a dozen in about 1/2 hour including applying the wraps. I'm also fletching about 20 dozen or so a year for myself and friends.

If your FletchTite thickens up you can thin it again. I can't remember if I used Toluene or MEK though.
