Draw length is measured from the throat of the grip PLUS 1.75 inches. So being that most rests sit behind the throat of the grip you can shoot an arrow almost 2 inches less than your DL. So the OP could have a 27 inch arrow and a 28.5 DL. And at 60 he is nowhere near under spined if thats the case. My arrows are 26.5, my DL is 28 and I'm shooting 67 pounds with 100 grain tips and I'm just fine.

To clarify my draw is 28.5, the 27 was incorrect, sorry about that.

Based on what you are saying my timing is out of whack by a bit. Can I fix that or us that for a pro shop?

Looks like your cam timing it out. Take is to a reputable dealer and have them put it on a draw board to check your string stops.

Backcountry how can you tell his timing is out by looking at a picture? Not being a smart ***, just trying to learn. I had mine set at the shop and then marked them so I could see if the changed over time, but I can't look at those pics and see anything.

Take a look at how the bus cables intersect the cam cut outs and use it as reference. Can't be sure without a draw board but looks like the top cable needs a twist or two and the bottom need a twist taken out.

Now that I look closer it appears his cams are marked and one of them is off the mark a bit. Thanks Trial.

x2. Has to be a tuning issue IMO.

I agree that your bow needs a tuning. I shoot Slick Tricks and they are bang on with field tips.

I had an issue when trying to BH tune with ST Mags. It was a slight cam lean that was fixed with 2.5 twists. Once it was fixed my BH and FP were dead on without and rest adjustments. cold 20 & 30.jpg
