Sounds like your type of hunting is much of the same as my type of hunting here in Maine.

How much do you think Buster weighs? He is a MASSIVE deer! Here in Maine we would be more proud of the weight then the rack! (In most cases)

I'm not that great at guessing weight, but in November I wouldn't be surprised if he was over 240. He puts on some serious weight. His size and location will make for one ***** of a drag. A challenge I'd love to have.

One thing I did forget to mention in here. This Spring, one of my neighbors was walking with her dog and the dog found a shed. It was Buster's! I ended up trading her a shed I found a few years ago for it.

This is the first time I've gotten an shed of a buck I know.

The kicker is, it was found within 80 yards of where Blade was killed in '13!

Alright, I'm looking to kick off my dissection of the North Shore zone. This week I want to put together the information that already know and show you guys how I start with a new area like this.

My question is, would you rather see everything typed and imaged out like I usually do it, or should I try and put together a video/screen capture of my little process and post it up with some map images?

Let me know what you think!

Yesterday I was out doing a little buoy replacement/maintenance and decided to check one camera early since I was close by. Nothing as far as bucks go but I got a couple neat pics.

Here's Smokey and Bandit, two of our more photogenic wolves.

Great pics. I look forward to the day I can see a wolf in the wild. I always enjoy listening to them when I'm camping.

It would also be a rewarding challenge to try and hunt them.

"these days and nights are killing me" a great line from your video/song choice.

Bitter sweet with you being on BHOD, I can't wait for the shows, but I will so miss the live from the stand stuff. Those updates keep me going!

Congrats on the lil man! My wife and I adopted a lil guy from Hong Kong this summer, so I understand the limited time.

Still the best thread on the internet! I am a huge fan and will be following daily!

Typed and imaged is always good because sometimes I check with limited service and loading a video would be tough. Videos are great also though.

Alright, I've decided to just do the write up for the new area, the North Shore. I'll do a video later into the season for the show.

I'm going to post all the images I have right off the bat. That way they are all in one spot for those of you that want to help me figure this area out :tu:

    It's roughly 160 acres.

Here's an overview of the area so you can see how the sits in the landscape-
