Wow, I figured after a past thread that camera set up would be in a floatable waterproof security case on your ventures across.

Good luck! You only have a buck tag this year right? I just can't fathom that.

Majority of us in MN only get 1 tag this year... I get either 1 buck or doe the whole year (2 years ago we could take 5 deer). Northern part of the state is strictly bucks only.

    Good luck Fitz!

Beautiful looking spot! I have one like it except my farthest shot is 35 yards do to being a thick river bottom!

I think about it all the time also. Even if its in the summer to fish or something. Wish it was a little closer, but I love what I see there.

I really need to get a move on things earlier in the day. The tree I was meaning to sit in had a couple fallens surrounding it. There was no good way to get to the trunk with out sounding like a buffalo. I found a decent tree, one that I sat in a few years back. Offered a very similar view, but the delay in set-up meant I wasn't ready to hunt until about 1/4 after 5.

Also, in my hurried state I tipped over twice in the creek (on foot). Luckily, no electronics took a drink.

Hoping to get out at least once between now an the 26th. A couple times would be great. My buddy Nick is coming up on the night of the 27th and hunting here through mid-day on Halloween. I'm excited for a hunting buddy and some more time in the woods! :tu:
