I will be trading the chromebook in for the iphone in a few hours and then head to the stand. This having a job thing get's in the way of hunting! Good luck Fitz.....hope the Pond is ready for a Kill!

 

Damn I'm excited to hunt this spot. I was so bummed it didn't work out with the high water last year.

You can see my StealthCam's new home in the first pic, and the famous, yet underused beaver lodge in the second.

 

It's weird being able to see the new clearcut from here.

Boy it sure looks like those deer are coming through there. Lots of tracks.

 

Been more windy than expected. Hope it lays down as the night progresses.

 

Something was walking around in the woods across the pond at dark. Couldn't get an ID.

I just got out of there. I left both cameras that I walk by alone since I just checked/moved them two days ago.

 

My mom is hitting the road and I'm on the water. Headed to the Tall Stack stand in the outlet.

Hoping for a little late afternoon movement with the lunar times today. Just got a text from my dad that he saw a nice buck cross the highway at the end of our drive. I'll take that as a good sign.

Well shoot. Jumped at least 3 does. They were standing in the creek in front of my stand. Looks like I should have come an hour or two earlier.
