    Thanks for a great weekend Fitz!! We had a blast running around in the big woods, checking cameras and hanging stands. Can't wait to get back up there again to start the hunt!!! Feel free to use any pictures of mine that you like off my FB page!BHOD!!!

    The key message I think you need to covey is you dont intend to remove or alter the dam. It seems like there is a rule against such unless you have a permit.

    If it were a dam he would have issues altering it possibly, but its the lodge/den. The state is worried about water flow in the case of the dam, not so with the lodge. His worry from what I've gathered is that you can't take an animal from the water in MN? Fitz?

    I just re-sent my inquiry. I'm fairly sure it will be legal, I just want to make sure. We have stands set-up right there on either side of the dam, but the ground blind could be epic. Time will tell.
