Awesome, doesn't sound like an all day sit will be hard to do today. Encouraging news about the chasing, hoping that means good things will happen on my vacation.

You have any trail cams left in this area that may help ID which one it was?

    3 :tu:

I know he didn't walk by one of them, cause if he had he'd be dead

    Possibly the other two though.

Something has been walking around to my NE for the last half hour. Directly down wind. I've been hitting the Tink's 69 Hot Shot every 5-10 minutes.

    ... Impatiently waiting.

I tried a can of hot shot last weekend after seeing your dropped can on this thread. Used a drag rag after splitting from my buddy and waking another 400 yards east. When I was parallel with his stand, I sprayed some on the ground, so he might get some activity behind his stand. Anyway, a buck scrapped the ground exactly where I sprayed, but he never saw him. We think he came in right behind me in the dark and kept following the drag trail in the wrong direction.

I have to make one of those slings for my Range finder, that is such a great idea. Handy and out of the way.

    Happy Birthday!

Just had another buck walk through. Same path of the big boy this AM, but opposite direction. He was nice, but I'm not sure how big. Saw even less then before.

This keeps up and a see another stand placement shift in my future.

55 yards or so. And yes, it's nasty thick. Glad I pushed over a dead balsam yesterday. Wouldn't have see either if them.

Hear one more group around 3, but didn't see them.

Trail cam pull on the way out confirms the 1:15 buck as....

    ...Blade.

    Bum-bum-buuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm!

So close. Only the second time I've ever seen him on the hoof :tu:
