    It's that special time, when the wind tapers off and all the critters start to sing. It's going to happen any time now. Best of luck to Fitz and the crew and all of us hunting vicariously in the north woods. Canoes full of deer and glasses full of beer!

    Day 2 started with some blackstrap & eggs :tu:

    We decide to hunt Whistler's Ridge today. Winds are suppose to suck again today, 15 mph gusting 25-30. But at least it's raining right now :throw:

    Todd headed to a ladder we he set up to our south along the snowshoe trail. Chase is in my Lone Wolf Elite where I shot my doe this year and hit Whistler last year.

    I'm 5 yards behind him in a tree I set up last season.

    Well, Chase just got his first taste of the north woods, a pack of wolves just moved through. We both got a little video, but the quality of mine is crap when I uploaded it.
