I'm pretty chilled. Good thing I have a bit of a walk before I get back to the canoe.

$155, WOAH!!! Guess it's better than an iPad I will probably look into other options but will consider it. Thanks, again! Also, love reading this thread and I cannot be in the stand!

If I can butt in here...

For guys who are looking for ways to view their photos without dragging their computer into the field with them, take a serious look at Ebay....just type in PDA. As you might recall, these units were the predecessors to the smartphone. Very expensive at the time. Now they're about $10-30 on Ebay. Good enough to show you pictures, and if you drop it in a swamp, who cares. :)

Just make sure you get one with an SD card slot.

Back to your regularly scheduled program.

Do you need to have hotspot or your phone or how exactly does it work as the website isn't very clear...

That's the newer one (2.0) but at a great price!

It was 30 all day today.

It creates a wifi that your phone can log onto. There's a free app that makes it easy to view & exchange files.

I liked what I saw, so I decided to leave the stand up. I'll head there tomorrow for a sit, then pull the stand.

According to my gps, I was going 4.2 mph the whole way home, and that was with some weeds on the prop.

For the Android guys, you can get a micro USB to USB adapter and then attach that to an SD card reader adapter that plugs into USB ports. That's what I'm doing this year and it is only $20.

Great thread Fitz looks like you have quite the experience up there!

First two card pulls of the day sucked. One small 7 pt and does. Couple unidentifiable bodies.

I'm heading back to the outlet. I'll grab my dad's card on the way to Fantasy Island. I want to pull that card too. Then I'll sit on the Hog Back Ridge for the night. Have to pull that stand tonight so I can move it around this weekend.

That only leaves one card to check, and that's on The Killing Pond, which I can check tomorrow with the cheeseheads:tu:

Alrighty, I'm in the stand. Nothing at all on the Island, but it wasn't really there very long. There was some ice along the shore though. I elected to pull the cam.

Getting the occasional peak of sun today which is nice, but the wind is a little more swirly come I g is a bit more of a Westerly direction. But forth most part it's blowing my scent out to the water.

Here's one shot from the tip of the ridge.

Now I'm just sitting here waiting. I may rattle in a bit.

Thought I had something coming in from the NE. Either it hung up or moved on.

I just did a couple soft grunts to see if anything will go for it.

    Nothing came from it.

Snowing now. Weathermen don't know crap. I can hear grouse roosting already though. Hopefully the deer will move early too!
