Ok crossed the dam and had over 400 pics.

All grass in the wind save one doe and some wolves. Moving on to option 2.

I clip along pretty good. I've gone into 20 mph head winds no prob. I leave a good wake on calm days.

 

Now it's just a short paddle across to the tip of the ridge.

 

So what does it cost to come up and stay at your camp for a guided fall whitetail hunt?

 

Don't suppose this gets others fired up?

Ok that took longer than expected.

I found a good spot between to saddles I the ridge. These are the best/only real spots deer can get to the swamp without cliff jumping.

Also, one of the saddles is right along the edge of the thicker tag seen in this photo.




The first tree I tries to set up in, just didn't work no matter how I tried. So I had to tear down and move to a second tree.

But, now I'm all set. Here's my view to my 3 o'clock, diagonal SE to the swamp.



And then to my 9, diagonal NW across the main trail of the ridge.



If it happens, it's gonna be fast, so I'd better stay ready

 

Might end up coming back here tomorrow after checking cameras.

Could you imagine if it fell off in that lake?!

 

Im pretty sure he bought a extendable thing of some sort that he can attach a camera to, so im guessing thats what he is using.

 

How do you get your trail cam photos on your iPhone in the woods? I've tried the Apple SD card reader and it doesn't support iPhones and I don't want to buy a iPad just for checking cameras.

 

Oly is right, I'm using an Xshot to take the photos.

 

For SD cards is use and AirStash reader
