What ever it was, it wasn't interested. Time to organize and pack up. I'm digging this spot. I'll have to come back a couple times in the next week or two, before it starts to ice up back here.

I'm back up on Whistler's Ridge. This is the week last year that we started getting picks of him.

Dad is setup I his ladder 80 yds to my S. He's on a meat mission tonight.

We could get up to 3" of snow tomorrow into Mon. I'm hoping for an all day sit on Tuesday.

The new spots you are trying sounds awesome! I have a feeling one of the big boys is going to be taking a dirt nap soon!

Had at least two deer come in at dark from my N. Dad was bleating occasionally. The lead deer got within 45 yards, but I couldn't see it enough to ID it. The second deer turned E and eventually headed back N. I really thought it was going to come together for a second.

Snuck out and I think we got away with it without getting busted.

It was 30 by the time we got down. Feels good, but I did get chilled standing there with my bow in hand and the adrenaline flowing a bit :tu:

Fitz, out of curiosity, what is the reasoning behind your quiver being mounted upside down?

I like the feel of how it balances in my hand. Feels steadier at full draw to me.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought of it making a difference but what ever works. It also would help lowering your bow down and you don't have your arrows hitting the ground first.

I have a bow sling and attach the string to my pack and the sling strap, seems to work well?
