Hahaha. As soon as I saw  I knew you had something down. Congrats man! I had a similar experience Monday night. Tried to make her stop twice and she didn't. Looks like tenderloins for dinner! : tu:

Congrats on the doe! Curious, what's your cam and mount set up this year. Now that I have two iphone 4's thinking about putting on the mount this year. That had pretty minimal shock at the shot

Thanks everybody! Feels good to be on the board and break in the Creed!

She snuck in with the wet woods, just like I was thinking would happen. From the time I saw her until the time the video is up and running was about 6 or 7 seconds.

I was hoping that she would veer to her left and bring her right up the trail to my camera, but she took the other split. I drew as soon as I knew she was headed away. This might be the first time I have ever been 100% confident in a shot. Usually I'm all paranoid, but I wasn't.

Got down after 20 min and was able to find the lighted nock right away, tucked under some brush. The arrow looked good.

There was good blood from the get go, though with everything wet from the rain it wasn't always easy to see. She had turned back the direction she had come from within the first couple bounds and was moving in a fairly straight line. at one point the blood seemed to stop, so I did two little circles figuring I'd come across her steady trail. The 1st circle was about 10 yards out, the second was almost 20 yards. I found her on the second circle piled up 90* from the path she was on. I figured she stopped and in her last few moments, stumbled off to the side.

She was quartered away pretty hard but the shot was great. Entered right in front of the diaphragm and came out through the off shoulder blade :tu:
