    Just got busted by a deer. Was coming the same way we came in.

    Blew at us from about 28 yds and turned back.

    Blew a few more times, so I doubt it was one of the big boys.

    Looks like whistler is blading a bit now. That's pretty cool, would love for you to tag both if them. I'm just wondering how they're related. Father/son, twins or brothers from another mother.

    That was Blade. Still have no positive ID on whistler yet this year.

    The rest if our outing tonight was uneventful. Taking the morning off, but will be out tomorrow night. Nick, My wife Sara and I all may sit up behind the lodge. Someone needs to drop a doe :tu:

    Ok, Nick and I are back up behind the lodge, where we were opening night.

    Wind is better and I'm thinking we may get another shot at our group of resident deer.

    No news is no news :sad: Slow night, saw some grouse... that's about it.

    today we're thinking about doing a little still hunt / scouting in the late morning, then move some stands to the outlet for an evening sit.
