Ok, I'm in. Looks like we have about 1.5-2" of fresh powdery snow. Trees are poofy. Not much for tracks on my trail in, but I'm hoping they come from the swamp to the S. Can heard the plows out this am. With no wind, it should be a quiet sit.

Well, here we are. Last day of the season. I'm headed out for one last sit up on the ridge. High's around -1, and the winds is blowing 9 mph out of the NW giving us windchills in the -10 to -15 mark. It'll be chilly, but I need my last sit I've been greenlighted by a couple parties to get them a doe if the opportunity presents itself, so we'll see. Look's like this will be the last hunt with my Drenalin. Time to go get bundled up and make the walk across the bay one last time. Delayed getting in. Did get to watch Dad run o e of his sleds up onto the trailer only to see the tongue pop off the hitch and blow a hole through his tailgate! Ouch! Doesn't look like a lot of fresh tracks back here, so I guess we'll see how the sit goes. I did bring a bleat along. The wind is gusty, but I seem to be somewhat sheltered from it.
It would seem that the sun has set on another bow season. I'll add some stats and final thoughts later tonight or in the morning. Man, my fingers are cold!

I want to thank you all for all the support. I started doing this whole journal thing as another way for me to log my season, so I could go back and relive the hunts. However the following and ecouragement the past couple years has been unreal! Thank You! I'll be back at it again next year. If they make the winter, I'll be looking at hunting 3 HUGE 10 pt trophies, plus I'm guessing a 4th in the last back from the S cut. Blade, Buster & Whistler will be saught after all year! Perhaps I'll get lucky and find some sheds this winter/spring.
