Here are a few pic from the drag out. We pulled out stands to. In the end she was less than 100 yards from my stand.
We're just getting cleaned up now. Gonna bust out the canoe and go sit in the outlet. We do have a photo of blade there, and right at dusk. It's always a beautiful spot to sit. One of us will sit in the stand I have set at the red dot, and the other will hang the Lone Wolf somewhere in the yellow circle. This is the best funnel we have around here. If they want to keep their feet dry, they need to cross in that 60 yard wide patch of land. I'll be uploading pics once we're set up
I nearly forgot... You can't see much, but here's the video from my iPhone
Is that mounted with the insane archery mount? I've got my handy cam mounted on one and bought the iPhone adapter but have yet to use it. Not sure I can give my phone up the entire sit. Sounded like a solid hit though.
Congrats on the doe, and good luck tbis evening. You need a regular video camera to documet all that up there, i would love to see it.
Here's one last shot in the canoe as we round the end of the outlet. And the canoe tucked up to shore. My view back towards the outlet. AugustIce is in the big pine on the far right of the photo. Here's the creek that we have the photo of Blade in. If he walks it, he's toast! Now we're settled in, waiting for the wind to calm and the action to start!
Well, pretty slow tonight. Nothing of note. Did see a couple grouse though. Time to climb down and head on home.
lovin' it Fitz, going crazy not being in the woods, but at least i can live vicariously through you for another couple of weeks!
have to live through Fitz until October get's here...working on stands, shooting at targets, changing broadheads and putting on quick fetch
