Ok, think it was a doe & fawn. Circles N and wind is now blowing from the N. blew a few more times; I blew back.

Saw the flicker of a tail from a second deer. Still can't tell if they've moved off or not.

Ok, it seems for now that they continued to circle means headed W along the ridge.

    Interesting start...

Not much of anything I'd trade for right now. I'm in my happy place.

I'm sitting not seeing much of anything. I hear tons of fake deer due to the leaves falling like crazy. Few critters, either way still nice to be in the woods. At least you saw a tail! Good luck.

Well, another 20 minutes or so and I'm going to head in. Rain & possible thunderstorms for this afternoon.

Chance if precipt falls throughout tomorrow. I hope to sit tomorrow night, maybe all day Friday.

It's not nessie, it's Ol' Crafty. He's part Northern Pike, part Eagle, part Snapping Turtle and all attitude! He's responsible for hundreds of lost lures & half eaten stringers of fish each year :tu:

It's still coming down good. Looks like it may taper off this evening. The winds have only been gusting to 16, not 25 like was forecasted. I'll be headed out between 2 & 2:30.

    I can't wait :tu:
