Ok, I'm off again! Headed to the dam and will take my stand down tonight. Turns out my brother is o. His way up to hang his stand for gun season. He'll be poking around the back side of the pond part of this evening. May be helpful, may not... Guess we'll see.

I'm anxious to find out what he's gotten on his cams the last 6 weeks.

    See you in the stand.

Forgot to charge my battery, I may be paddling home if it doesn't last.

I have identified a tree across the creek that I'd like to sit in. Looks like there's a pile of deadfalls at it base that will have to be moves or trimmed. Gonna have to wait for a windy day or maybe even the off season. I think I'd get a pretty nice view from there and still have good back cover.

Interesting... It seems someone has hung a stand near the middle dam. I can see it from here.

Would have to be one of the neighbors. I'm assuming its for the rifle season. I may have to leave a note and try and find out who it is.

This may put a stiff filter on the free-flow of information I provide in this journal in the future.

... kinda bummed at the moment.

That does suck, is this private land? Always meant to ask.

Hopefully you can make it happen, that is the bad thing about posting too much info. Always someone out there taking advantage of someone else's hard work. Hopefully that's not the case but a very real possibility.

Sorry to hear that Fitz. Always wondered how secluded you were, or not. I too have been worried about posting too much info in my.own thread. Hard to balance bringing good content without pointing out exactly where you hunt

That's what I had always figured, but the comment about possibly one of the neighbors had me curious.

95% is public, but hard to access. I'll probably leave a note tomorrow.

Just means I'm gonna push Blade that much harder the next couple weeks!!

wow thats rough man...hunting public land is no fun. I wouldnt think you would have that issue there. I was gonna say I bet the guy has a BH.com hat, but you beat me to that^^^^

Well, all packed up and back at the canoe. A bummer of a night, but there's still plenty of time.

No, I'll do this tomorrow. I didn't want to cross either dam, plus I've got nothing to write on or with.

Hope your battery holds up the whole way back. Good luck with contacting the other hunter, hope its someone you know and has minimal impact on your future hunts.
