Oh yeah, the cell phone is there. It's also my means of posting live from the stand, and my video recorder... Love my iPhone :tu:

It's kind of funny, I've been hunting since I was 13 or 14. First rifle hunting in Washburn CO WI, and then up here. I've never hunted on or near a field of anykind :busted:

    Maybe someday :tu:

I take that back. I spent one night hunting over our 30'x50' foodplot in WI. But that may not really be considered a field?

Well, I got out this weekend to check my new camera that I put out in a new spot. I was hoping that I didn't get skunked and boy I wasn't. In one week I got over 750 pics of deer! That's great up here!

There were 3 little bucks and a ton of does and fawns. Here are a few shots...

Now, is it just me, or is this fawn tiny for this late in the summer?

No new shots of Blade. But that's not out of the ordinary. I usually go two weeks or more between picks of him.

Subscribed, didn't see this thread earlier. Respect for the effort to hunt Blade, I couldn't imagine paddling or pedaling but can relate to the motor driven :D

Team or no team, hope you tag him this season

I need to trim a few stands this afternoon. It's raining off & on today and the season is only 7 days away! Time to get all that last minute stuff done, so I can be care free in the woods next Saturday!

I forgot to post more pics from the other day!

It did rain off & on, but I was able to get two stands prepped in one area.

I also got out for a couple hours today, to check my new cam and prep two more trees in that area. I'm pretty excited for this spot. There's a ton of doe activity and most of it is daytime:tu: I see some meat being harvested here, possibly opening weekend if we can get a SW wind!

Here's the first stand I set in a Jack Pine.

Now, if there's time, I need to get across the lake and check my other camera for signs of Blade :tu:
