    Wow, did it calm down fast. Had a very upset family of beavers slapping the water all around me as I left tonight.

    No deer, but man it felt like it was gonna happen tonight. I grunted early on but stayed quite for the last two hours.

    Won't get out tomorrow, bad wind and I'm planning on knocking out most of the stone work I have left. But Sat looks like a good possibility.

    Kyle, I'm doing a stone heatshield & hearth for our old cast iron woods stove that I want to re-install. I'll probably post a series of photos once it's all done.

    My dad just pulled up in his boat to the east. He'll be in the other side of the bedding area. About 700 yds from me I think.

    Man was it quiet tonight! The beaver family was chomping away all night. Thought I had something walking the ridge up behind me right at dark. It was too far away to tell. Could have been a grouse even.

    I think I'm going to check and maybe move cameras tomorrow. Then game plan. I need to decide if I want to give the area a rest, or move in further on him.
