I do not. I have my bow, and in my pack a knife for gutting deer.

What the heck, might as well go out for a sit tonight!

I'm gonna head to my stand I have set up on the south edge of the middle beaverdam. With a SW wind, it should be a good spot. This is the stand I shot my does out of the previous two years, and where I had the moose at 4 years for opener last year.

It'll be nice to go to a stand that's in place already. Get to use the Life Line too :tu:

Time to jump in the shower and get cleaned up....

    Ok, in and up :tu:

Here's the creek where I shot those does. It's wide than previous years but down from what it's been.

Here's the end of the dam. Any thing crossing come within 20 yards or less.

An this is behind me. A nice 'open' spot for up here. 35 yards to the back side.

The wind is very slight. Pushing my scent out and over the creek towards the lake.

It's quite, but all the fallen leaves are crunchy. Should be able to hear 'em coming.

Already watched a kingfisher dive into the creek. Hope I'm as successful as he was.

No, typing too fast and not double checking before hitting send. I'll fix it...

Just heard something cross the far dam. Big wolf then trots 45 yards behind my stand. Heard a bunch of splashing up in the pond. I'm assuming that was his packmates.

I tried to get some video, but its pretty dark. I'll check t out on my tv when I get back.

Bunch of roosted ravens scared the crap out of me on the way out! Waited until I was right under them before they flushed. I ain't scent-free no more

    20-25 minutes give or take.

Full moon tonight. It's beautiful out! Deadass calm too.
