31” of ice. Was a ***** drilling the holes and clearing the slush even with the 12” extension on the auger.

One of the best days of fishing I’ve ever had. We kept 110 crappies with 3 under 12”. Even got a few random kids their limits. Walleyes are a cherry on top.

Going to try fishing this warming trend coming next week. Talked the SIL into tagging along with me. Reservation confirmed, boat ready, but not as much as I am! Cabin fever is a real thing

I'd love to try those below Norway dam on the Tippecanoe, with a minnow attached .. some nice walleyes being caught this time of year if the water aint crap/muddy ..

local steelhead streams are high/muddy/almost over banks in a few spots ..

It's all booked flights and guide for Easter weekend, 2 guided trips 2 kayak days. Kayak days one day shrimp one day minnows. I prefer minnow fishing bigger fish.

Finally upgraded my trolling motor, had an old motor guide digital tour 82, served me well but was brutal on the river fishing by the locks without spot lock. Ended up getting a minn kota ultrex, looking forward to this year.

I have a helix 9 finder on order I’m gonna link up with it with the down and side view. I’m pumped!

I like it but fishing staring at a screen is not right.

I have the helix 9, but it's not linked to my Xi3. Wish it was. Less wires to hang up in..

    Nice unit...
