Four hours of fishing for my six-year-old to catch one Red Ear bream in a pond that G and F had stocked with catfish the day before for a kids fishing tournament. Nobody was catching anything, weirdest day of fishing I have ever seen. But, he had fun and showed incredible patience.

Another gorgeous day on the lake. Minus starter lock up on the go fast motor 1000002054.jpg and tow to the marina down time.

IMG_7049.jpeg IMG_7050.jpeg IMG_7051.jpeg Got the tritoon for the family and i was overdo for a toy for me. Honestly i think this will be a family boat as well. Been shopping for awhile and finally got what i wanted. All the gadgets are on the way. Full garmin livescope setup , 80# minn kota terrova , 5 millenium seats with side kick for deck. Yes it will be a little big for some of my fishing but it will get me everywhere i need to go for my hunting so it was a give and take situation. Truth is a true outdoorsman cant just have one boat! :tu: But ill have to make do for now. Will add a 16/50 with a 25 hp to my arsenal eventually. The 2072 will have to do for now

Gotta get a turkey killed this coming week so I can get back down there again the first week of May. Love this time of year.

    Very nice.

I’ve never really fished where I had a chance of catching smallmouth.

Smallmouth are my favorite fish. They fight so hard and fly so high when they jump. All I can say is if you catch a good one 18 inches or bigger you will fish for them every chance you get. Current River is well known for them as well as Table Rock...

Well I bought a new go fast motor today. They will be swapping my old 75 for a 115 pro xs in 10 days or so. Headed back smallmouth fishing next Thursday. Will be giving the old motor it's last laps and skid bound she be until sold...

Very nice! I have a 115 Pro XS on my boat and so far it's been great. I'm actually picking it up from the marina tonight and hoping to get out on the water this weekend for the first time this year. Breaks in my schedule are limited so I have to take advantage while I can.

Got out for first trip of the year, no problems with boat and managed some nice fish. Here’s one of the better ones from the river.
