Still a hole deep in snow but there is water on the ice it will come off early. Will have the dock in by May, not me but the guys I pay to do it.
Going to get the boat out of storage and to the shop in the next week or 2, strip down the fixed fuel cell I want external water separator and filter I can access visually.
The ski boat is a Lund Tyee with a 115hp 2 stroke it is a big water fishing boat just stripped down for sking. I still have 1 last project boat at the daughters I would love to finish it but it needs to go do not have room for proper storage. Bought it for $100 will sell it for $2000 complete but not assembled and the restored motor needs a lower unit. I sold a couple boats to pay for the pontoon and the tyee. I only pay cash for toys.
Took the boat out for a shake down yesterday. Nice when everything works and runs right out of winter storage. Fishing sucked but it was great to be out on open water again!

Also, works for pirates… North Carolina has a long and storied history when it comes to pirates. Simply pulled my lucky catfish fishin coozie out of winter storage (had her since high school - 2004) and wanted to post a photo and didn’t realize that one of my freedom sticks was in the photo and one thing led to another. Back to fishing… I’m really looking forward to the Spanish run this year. There is something about hand lines, planers, and beer that really gets me excited!

Holy ****, I just saw that. Damn. I know one thing for sure… If I ever ever find myself in a situation where I need to change careers and pursue a life of crime, you can bet your ass that I’m gonna be moving to your state before I get started.
Going to head over to the farm in the morning while the ground is still frozen and get the boat out, better to get it fixed early than late. Plus first day the ice is out I want to go out for a few rips down the lake, there is nothing better than flying across the water full throttle.
