Was talking to the neighbor this morning, told him we kept 20 crappies. he figures that there have been 250 fish caught out of the house this winter. Best part I set up the cutting boards sharpened the knives and let the boys clean all the fish. We kept 50 fish this winter, gave most away I have 2 bags in the freezer.

Boys cleaned the fish this morning when they were done I made them my filet o fish sandwiches. Toasted bun with cheese, hashbrown patty, fish with pickles and tartar sauce, fresh fish nothing better. The boys had seconds ate every bit of fish they caught.

Pondering, going fishing alone tonight. My wife asks why I never fish when people come up or with her, I tell her I don't because I would catch all the fish. I might want to go catch 15

This trip started off with a blown trailer tire which messed up the travel cover and one of the bunk guides. Today we got blown off the lake. Fun times

My Florida fishing trip has come to an end. Not many big fish caught, but the adventure of it all is what its about anyway.

Good time was had by all. Unless the straps on a PFD are buckled, they are useless in an emergency dunking.

Hey guys long time no see. Last weekend of walleye fishing on upper red lake. Group of 8 of us went up. We always make it a point to chase the elusive crappies (that used to be abundant). Takes numerous live scopes and a lot of fast augers to chase the schools around. Last year we got 50+ this year we could only manage 14 in a few hours. All of them 12”+ with a few pushing 15”.

Well the Florida trip took its toll on my old boat trailer. Ended up having to replace side bunks, tie down straps, tires and depth finder for the console. Amazing the damage a blown tire will do running 77 in the fast lane on the Fl. Turnpike. Its ready for the road again and so am I.

That happens. Knew of a guy who lost a boat because he didn't have safety chains. No salvage value, either.
