I've posted a handful of fishing pics of my brothers and I. I'm just not around as much these days. http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?31825-Thanks-to-a-mild-winter&highlight=muskie http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?35596-Recent-Muskie-Outing&highlight=muskie http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?38422-Big-Muskies&highlight=muskie http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?20220-Winter-s-holding-on-fishing-pics&highlight=muskie http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?35659-Annual-Family-Trip&highlight=fishing http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?21336-Annual-Spring-Trip-w-pics&highlight=fishing http://forums.bowhunting.com/showth...ip-(long-read-lots-of-pics)&highlight=fishing
Those Brown Trout are beautiful. I love those colors and those are some great pictures. You definitely "Rock!"
I really enjoyed those, especially when you snuck that walley in a picture. Not much for fly fishing opportunities in eastern South Dakota, but seeing that 'eye gives me some motivation.
Fishing for big cats at night is an awesome way to beat the heat, and still get a line wet in the summer. I like to add beer drinking to the sitting and waiting part
here is my fathers Walleye, we caught in together on 20/10/2010 it weighed in at 12 pounds 5.5 ounces Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Whose waiting that long? I'm heading to the lake right now! I almost prefer ice fishing over open water. Sent from iPhone
Yeah its dangerous for me though. I can't really afford to bowhunt n fish like I used to. And its making me miss fishing haha. The mathews might get dusty if I have another year like the last 2. Sitting still all day in a tree is sounding less appealing then a new Jackson Cuda, getting the jet boat fixed up and putting some fish on the wall!
x2 on hitting the lake today. My day wasn't to good though. Had an 8 to 10 pound northern hit my spoon 3 times but he wasn't that aggressive. I was fishing In 15 feet of water, water was crystal clear. A few days before this I was on this lake. Caught 6 blugills. They all were In between 8.5 and 8 3/4 Inches long. I could see down my auger hole real good so today I cut a spear hole. Not sure what happened but not a sunny to be found today. I'm heading out In the morning to another lake. Crappies will be caught.
Life man. Both kids in school and sports, making time for my wife to reach her running goals, work is picking up, etc. I love you guys and all, but I just haven't had the time to play. Hell, I've only been fishing once in that last month. I can't remember the last time that's happened.
I think everyone has seen these, but figured I'd post them anyhow. I don't keep/kill fish with the exception of the occasional perch/walleye fry every 5-10 years, so all of these have been released. Pretty terrible pic and the fish was in good shape despite the bit of blood you see. This was a 38" pike I caught prefishing a tourney on Champlain last year. An iceout smallie caught in my favorite Adirondack lake, the Great Sacandaga. It's not my biggest overall as I've caught several just shy of 5lbs, but a really good one for this lake. This was a 100+ fish day and one I won't forget. This is my personal biggest largemouth, but since it was caught out of a farm pond it really doesn't count. The scale said 8.2lbs. Pretty good one for the northeast even if ponds are cheating. This is the largemouth I'm most proud of. She went 7lbs 3oz, and was caught in one of the most highly pressured tournament lakes in NY. For reference this lake typically produces 11-12lb bags to win in a 70+ boat tournament. It was caught on a (at the time) prototype jig that became our "Stink Eye" line of milfoil jigs. A 37" 21lb striper I caught in the Hudson. The first and biggest I caught. Took me about 4 years of chasing them to really figure out how to do it and it's tons of fun. I never got a tape on this one, but I'm guessing it was around 38-39" or so. Caught on 10lb test one day when I was testing out some new spinnerbaits that we also eventually ended up adding to our product line. She followed it and smashed it about 2' from the boat and actually soaked my wife when she hit it.
