Shop around for prices, Austin kayak was cheap... I found a place locally that matched the price...an and they took a little off for the cash price. It's a super kayak to fish from..
Hooker I think you will love it.

I didnt even think about the camera mount...great idea. I fish alone most of the time and hate telling people I caught good fish with no proof lol.

I don't think the Coosa had a rudder option, unless it was added this season.

I ordered mine from Austin kayak. Free shipping for a kayak? Hell yes!

And I was wrong, I did not buy the "Angler" package because I felt I could add the accessories myself for cheaper. I just put together my crate for the back with PVC rod holders. I'll add an anchor system soon.

Me and buddy took ours duck hunting this morning. Just sneaking through flooded timber and jumping ducks.

I am not an experienced kayaker by any means but the native seems to handle very well for me...don't know if its the right terminology but it seemed " track straight"...turned ok too.

Do you like it more then the Jackson? I know you were really pushing the cuda before.

Check these out. I met them at the international fly tackle dealer show. In my opinion the best fly fishing kayak option if you are willing to drop the coin.

I love that the Cuda is more fishing centric, but it is a heavy bastard. I also liked the open hull of the Native for hauling gear for duck hunting. If I was just using my kayak for fishing, I would have probably went with the Cuda, but the Native makes a great duck hunting kayak, as well as fishing. The new ones have the track system that allow you to add all kinds of great accessories.

nah, that is my buddies pup

Thanks. Ill pretty much just be fishing with it. Will consider it for sneaking into deer areas, but its not a normal thing for me. Most of it will be fishing. Thanks again bud.

Those are cool for short distances, but suck if you plan to go anywhere with distance. They are tanks in the water.

Just remember, if you plan on handling it yourself, the Cuda is heavy. Although I think they are suppose to be coming out with a 12' Cuda.

Yeah Im looking at the 12. 74 pounds I can handle. the 14 would be great but I will only be in real big water maybe 5% of the time, so Im pretty sure the 12 will do just fine if I go with Jackson. Its a pretty sweet looking boat thats for sure!

Remember, the 74 lbs isn't the only thing to consider. You'll need something big enough to transport a 12'+ boat also.

Ive strapped a 15' canoe to the top of my Durango plenty of times, think she can handle it. Its a little heavier then the canoe, but dont think that will be a problem.
