Here's an aerial view of my property. It is 40 acres. My stand locations are the stars, the blue line is the creek and the while areas are where I am thinking about planting food plots. This year, the property to the north, south, and west are all planted in soybeans, and the property to the east is pasture that is sometimes used for cattle. What do you think of my proposed locations for food plots? Also, just your overall thoughts of my set up.

That looks like a really nice piece of land. I would completely say I'm an amateur so I'd like to see what others have to say but I like the "locust" stand and surrounding areas and the open section by the river between skywalker and future grain, permitting the cows cant get to it of course.

I've seen some sign of bucks bedding near my Ridge Stand, and just west of Skywalker, but I'd say for the most part, my property is more of a travel route at this point. I think the main bedding area is east. of the Corn Killer stand on the neighbors property. I have seen my largest bucks out of Corn Killer. I'm hoping by adding the food plots, I can draw them over into my property on a regular basis.

I haven't decided what I am going to plant either. I have a tractor, brush hog and an old type pull disk to work with, but that's pretty much it at this point. Eventually I'll have a tiller, but not yet. I'm hoping to put the plot in by the 1st week of August. What would everyone suggest to plant in those areas, knowing what I have to work with.

Plant brassicas and rape. There is food all around you so I would plant something that is going to be good later in the season. A couple of your stands are pretty far in. As long as their not bedding by them it looks good.
