Found some carp in the flood waters off the Mississippi River near home. The water had just flooded this area and they were enjoying themselves. Carp were spawning everywhere. You'd see 3 or 4 swimming together quite often. I managed to put around 20 in the barrel in an hour and a half despite the rain and clouds. It would have been much easier to see them if the sun was out. I went back tonight, but the water had risen another foot and a half and they were hard to see. Plus they had hundreds of more acres to roam.
