I've got 4 turkeys under my belt now after only hunting a couple of times since I am in a lottery state. After shooting all of them with a shotgun and just within the last 3 years have gotten into bow hunting, I decided to try my next with a bow. Shot this juvenile from 22 yards. I'm hooked and don't know that I'll go turkey hunting again without using a bow. What an awesome hunt!
Thanks! By the way, was there seriously someone that got kicked off this site because they were trying to sell a Boly trail cam or were you just giving me a hard time?
Congrats on your first turkey with the bow! If you think it's exciting in the Fall, you should try it in the Spring with the bow, when they come in gobbling! I love it and I'm sure you will too! Congrats again!
Congrats ... I had always wanted to try turkey hunting and wanted to do it with my bow , well in 2011 I went to Ky ( family farm ) and killed my 1st turkey and got it all on film by myself ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_n6ch-OjpM
Thats awsome!!! I think I might try my hand this spring at a bow turkey!! Where in MN did you take that bird?
