I bought a turkey hunt at a church auction. First time I have been in 25 years. Called in a 23 pounder with a 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. Shot him with a full choke 20 gauge, loaded with 6 shot at 30 yards. Photo04200809.jpg

Thanks, I was pretty proud but honestly, was kicking myself for not taking my bow. I think I would have had a perfect shot. I know I shouldn't question God's bounty and I look forward to putting him on the smoker and enjoying and sharing the gumbo and dirty rice that comes from the leftovers with some friends.
