Learn how the cam works and doesn't work. Look into other posts about do's and donts. Then get ready to see some cool stuff and who knows...maybe the elusive Jackalope or Yetti may pose for a pic.
i love mine and get fired up every time i go to check it.

We've got a Primos 35. Not a fan of the battery life on the thing but it's not a terrible cam by any means. Plan on using it till it dies but I know the next time I spend that much it'll be on a different kind....I know our much cheaper Cover CA.4.0s run longer for battery life (still same since first week of august) and better pics in my opinion. Coverts are now my choice brand but many other great brands out there, and many of them are cheaper than the Primos 35 but of better overall quality in my opinion if being honest.

I have 4 Primos 46s and a Primos Blackout, a Cuddeback Capture, and 2 DLC Covert Red 40s. The Cuddeback sucks, the Primos cams are alright, and the Red 40s dominate them all.

Welcome to the addiction ! It is a decent cam but for $150 you could have done way better.

I just got into using trail cams myself about 4 months ago. Bought 1 wildgame innovations red 3. I now own 6 cams, 2 wi red 3, 2 primos 35 and 2 moultrie d55irxt. The primos are the older larger style I got from cabelas on sale for $80 each. Got the wi cams for under $50 on sale at ****ssporting goods, the moultries were $100 on amazon. I haven't used them enough to really say what I think of them although if I had to rate them now I would go moultrie then primos then wi. Actually not loving the wi cams but all of them will be on public ground so theft is a problem and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on cameras that have a good chance of being stolen. I definitely see myself owning more In the future I'm already addicted and I barely even have any pics from them yet. Ill post my thoughts on each in a month or two. Good luck with yours ill be curious to see how it works out for you
