So Im ordering a bunch of gear today have been using the search function here which has been a great help for the Summit Viper climber im ordering and probably a Nikon Archers choice range finder. So now onto cameras. I see lots of people on here are pushing the DLC Covert MP6, Im finding them on Amazon for the lowest of 149.99.

So my question is, should I buy multiple cameras or am I good with just one? The area that I will mostly be hunting is my girlfriends 5acre farm which backs up to 300+ acres of public land of open fields and wooded area. So I dont want to spend a ton of a top of the line camera to leave out on public land. Also should I purchase a few and place them in some different areas or just stick to one, leave feed out by it and move it around every few weeks?

    thanks everyone

dlc coverts take amazing pictures with great daytime clarity. but if you dont want to spend all the money check out some wild game inovations and some primos truth cams.

I liked the Wild Game cameras because of their price, however I have heard more bad stories than good stories... Maybe buying 1 good camera to keep closer to the farm and 2 cheapos for out on the public land?

I use a few different brands, basically it was to find out which ones work the best. Trigger speed is important, battery life, and pic quality. The DLC have been on my list for quite a while and from what I hear are worth every penny. Other than that do some experimenting to find what you like in a camera. Some people bait if legal, mineral block, others set on trails, food plots, there are good uses for all, jjust need to find out what way you use it.

I have a primo truth 46. Good pics, good batt life. It does a good job, when dry and warm. Loaned it out in the cold and wet not so good. I think I found were it was leaking and sucking the batts down. I'll find out later. Also have 2 moultrie m80. Love the plot watch, does eat batts, but lots of pic. As for a trail cam fair pic, good batt life. Small size is real nice.
Having more than one is handy if you hunt different spots. Or want to watch an area fast. Be ready to lose it on public land, it happens. I got mine at a discounted $, after the new improved model came out.
