    Hi,
I'm 26 years old and in the US Army. I'm a fairly accomplished rifle marksman (tactically, not competitively) but have always had an interest in compound bows. I've decided that I'm finally committed to joining the community and am looking to finally purchase my first bow. I've narrowed my choice down to 3 "entry level" bows after spending about a month shooting various other. I'm trying to decide between a Bowtech Assassin, PSE Drive and PSE Brute X. I've found all 3 in complete RTH packages for nearly the exact same price point. Now I'm just trying to decide what is the better value. All three are priced between 660-700. Any insight from the community would be appreciated. Thanks, glad to be here

I recommend shooting them first, if you haven't already! That may answer your question. Good luck!

Almost everything from PSE, bear and diamond (under 550 for naked bow). As well as the assassin and a few other bowtech and Mathews that are too rich for my blood

Yeah, after shooting these are the 3 I've settled on.
