Hey guys, just looking for a little advice from some more experienced hunters. I'm going down to our family properly in VA on Saturday for some deer hunting, however, because fall Turkey overlaps the season, I figured if it's a slow day and the deer aren't moving, I might take aim at a turkey if one walks by. My brother will be on the opposite side of the property with his shotgun hunting out of a blind (strictly turkey hunting) but I will have my bow with me in my climber. Everything i've read online says my 3-blade BloodRunners would be fine and was just hoping for some suggestions on shot placement, calling and anything else I might need to know. If I'm primarily deer hunting, I shouldn't be calling right?

    Thanks for the help.

    Sean

If you are after deer I would not call, but if you kill a deer and decide that you want to go after turkey use the kee kee call.
