First time hunting/ First deer down

    Good afternoon!

    I thought I would share a youtube video that I shot of my mom taking her first deer ever. We were sitting in a ground blind and I am the voice coaching her through it. For some reason she decided that she wanted to go hunting for the first time this year. We got her a tag and I made it one of my goals to put her in a good spot to shoot one.

    I have killed a lot of deer in my short life but there is just something about taking a first time hunter out to harvest their first animal, no matter if they are 9 or 60. I realize that it isn't the best quality footage but man I was pumped when she put a perfect double lung shot on a nice little buck!

    Awesome! I'm just a little younger than your mom. I got my first deer the day after she did. I hope my boy turns out as well as you did!
