Hey everyone, got an e-mail from a customer today who had several questions about getting started food plotting. I thought I would direct him here because you guys know a lot more about this art than I do, so please help him out. Below is the e-mail.

hey i was planning on planting some type of food plot next year to not only attract the deer but for growth too. I was wondering what type grows best in shady conditions because some spots will be in the forest with a cleared out spot and i know that does not see as much sun light as a actual field will so could you tell me what a good see would be for shadier conditions. (I'm from Michigan) Also some other spots of mine are close to lake michigan and i have noticed that the soil is more sandier in places could you tell me what type would be good for that as well? thanks.
