I am planning a hunt out west for 2017 in Colorado. This will be my first hunt out there and first Muley hunt period. I have family that lives in Fort Collins so I figured I would apply for GMU #7. If I have read the regs right that also includes access to GMU #8, 9, 19, and 191. Anyone have any experience with these units? I'm not asking for honey holes or anything just, should I spend more time one than another? Also, im trying to gain as much knowledge as possible before 2017 when I apply so that I am more prepared. Do you know of any good websites on backcountry hunting? Everything from what to take, what to look for on maps because I wont be able to actually scout since I live in IL. I appreciate any and all feedback. :tu:

You definitely need to spend time on rokslide.com forums...best info out there for Western hunting.

    Good Luck!
