Hey guys, after spending most of my summer doing 3D shoots in Ohio, tomorrow i will finally be up in a stand for my first chance for some whitetail action. Possibly a little unprepared but my bows sighted in and when out and got my Muzzy's 3 Blade with my tags and license.

How close to Columbus do you live? I'm in Greene County, about 45 minutes away.

    1) Wear your safety harness
    2) Don't drink alcohol while in the stand
    3) No neck shots

    :D

    Good luck!

I wish I could hunt on a Wednesday... I am jealous. Have a good hunt and report in if you see anything or clap a big buck!

Try and take a couple of shots at home before heading out. it helps loosen you up and calm you down a bit. The hardest part of bow hunting is shooting while you heart is racing out of control. get-M-tiger!

You will love it. Be patient and enjoys God's creation. As far as being prepared goes, try to lay it all out the night before. That being said, I have gotten to my stand without a release before, and one time I still had my field tips in my arrows. Just laugh those moments off, and head back to the house. Glad to have another bowhunter around.
