I took my little indians to our first shoot of the year. It was absolutely beautiful day! Temps in the 70's, sunny, light breeze. The shoot was held at a pretty cool place, Winterville Mounds. It's an ancient Native American site and contains about 10 mounds in an otherwise flat Mississippi Delta. Some of the Mounds are impressive and its hard to believe they built them up by hand. Here is a pic from atop the tallest overlooking the Mississipi Delta. We are probably a mile or two inland from the Mighty Mississippi. Here are a few of the action. Ol' Dad didn't get to shoot much with these two flinging arrows every which way! It was alot of fun though.
Great pics DC. That is priceless. I am going to start finding shoots around me and try to attend, if for no other reason, to watch and learn.
That's it, take those boy everywhere you go. Don't miss one moment if you can help it. They'll be grown before you know it.
