I went out on some nearby Public land to try and harvest a doe yesterday morning. At about 7:15 I spotted a nice big doe and by around 7:35 she stepped into my shooting lane. 30 yard shot, she ducked the arrow but not enough to get away clean, she ran about 80 yards in 5-10 seconds and that was it. This is my first public land deer, my first self filmed kill, first deer for 2014, first October deer and first big game bowkill in 2 years. It took my 41 hunts to finally get a doe this year but it was worth it!! You can see in the pics the blood trail that the Rage Chisel Tip Extreme made. Great hunt on a nice cool 30 degree morning. One of the pics is a snapshot from the video and you can see my green lighted nock about to hit the deer. I will have the video up on youtube hopefully soon.
