I'm having the same problems you are...I have the Stealth Prowler and Sniper IR. Thinking about bringing them back to Cabelas and getting the Covert!!

Great pics/deer Dustin. What model cam do you have?

Any regular battery for Stealth Cam's suck, i stick with the 12V rechargeable...i can get 2-3 weeks out of it.

Guys, it's the cheaper one... the Rogue IR.

Caleb, I'll have to check out the 12v deal, that's much better than 7 days. Honestly, if I were to do it again... I would buy another Moultrie I40. The daytime pics are just as clear and I've taken over 1000 photos with it and had like 70% battery life left. I was extremely impressed. They are on sale here for like $169 which is $30 cheaper than anywhere I've ever seen.

On the battery life. The best I have used is the Scoutguard. I have gone from Sept to Jan 1 and had a ton of pics and good battery life and that is in Wisconsin where it can get cold,.

I ran one last year from Jan 1 to early Feb and still had battery life. According to the news 25 or 27 days( dont remember which) in Jan were below 0 at some point during the day.

I really think I need to move to Iowa.

Those are some great looking pics. How many megapixels in that model? I'm probably going to pick up a few new cameras this year.

I am always perplexed when people say how happy they are with the I40. I have one and it has been nothing but a headache. I had it over a mineral site last year and would get 30 pics in 2 weeks. I knew that something was wrong so I put a cheapo Wildview across from it and I'd get 300 pics on the Wildview and 25 on the Moultrie. I sent it back to Moultrie for testing/repair and they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with it. Very frustrating.

Great quality pics seriously. How can you expect better. I hate my stealth cam but it is one of the first digital models.

Wow 102 degrees I would be dead. I hate anything over 75 degrees.
