Well last saturday me and a few buddies headed out for a morning hunt in adams county ohio. This was my first time hunting the tranquility wildlife area. My grandfather in-law pointed me out to a point that over looks a field. Well I get there and hear rattling and look across the field and see two bucks fighting. And what an amazing sight this was my first experiance seeing this.So I get settled set my bow down get my rattlers out and grunt call spray some scent and sit and wait. Not 30 minutes pass and I see a doe walk out in the field. At this point she's 200 or so yards away and there are no bucks in sight. She wonders around the field to abput 100 yards sniffs looks and just stands for about 5 minutes doing her thing. Then she begins to trot my way stands broadside at 20 yards. I set my pin breath and fire only to miss... I set my bow down and just think about what happened. We get back to the truck and I noticed my scope rail and mount was loose. Which threw my shot off. then I thought how this could happen and I realize we had to make a sudden stop to avoid a buck on the way there and it rattled my crossbow and knocked it over and didn't really think about it b4 heading out. Lesson learned

And the good news later that evening I went to my primary hunting land my 30 acres in preble county with now bow just to see has been going on. Found some nice rubs a scrape and seen two doe bedding between my two stands I currently have up. Hopefully after I get a day off work ill be able to redeem myself and get my first deer and get some meat.
