Hey everyone! This is my first post. I hope I'm not asking a stupid question or anything, I'm new to this forum. I poked around a little bit and I didn't see anything about this camera... Amazon.com: Canon VIXIA HF G20 HD Camcorder with HD CMOS Pro and 32GB Internal Flash Memory: CANON: Camera & Photo I shot a buck this year that I'm really proud of, and I'm kicking myself for not buying the gopro I had in my hand at best buy the week before I got him. It was a crazy hunt and I'm real bummed I didn't film it. I've been planning on taking filming more seriously, and my procrastination finally got the best of me. I'm just looking for some input on my potential setup. I'm going to get and insane archery mount for my bow, to hold my Samsung 65x Intellezoom. That's what I've been carrying around with me in the woods, kinda just documenting my hunt like a journal. Its an older camera but it takes decent footage for the purposes of a second angle camera, IMO. To hold the vixia, I was planning on picking up the 3rd arm bandit series tree arm. Finally the Manfrotto 701HDV fluid head. I'm thinking I'll have to pick up another battery and a better mic, but those won't be until down the road...thoughts?
Yeah false. I have that exact camera. Added a lanc controller and shotgun mic. Love the camera all around the only complaint I have is its only 10x zoom. I would prefer to have a camera with 20x zoom. Wont make that mistake again. Other then that the camera is awsome and have no complaints with it. Covers low light conditions pretty well also. If you have it on auto gain it can get grainy in low light but still not so bad you cant even watch it.
