First one with a little history

    OK, finally getting all of this together. To start out I got the first picture of this deer in December 2012.

    That was that until June when I found his shed while cutting hay.

    Anticipation grew as season approached, but 0 sightings with 0 trail can pictures. Until....December 2013. Almost exactly one year later.

    This would be his last appearance, 15 minutes after that picture was taken my uncle shot him chasing a doe. It was bitter sweet when I got the phone call that he had killed him, especially since I was heading down in under three hours. But I was very excited for my uncle, he is the reason I got into hunting!

    Good deer for our area, and first deer I've had that much history with. Eventhough it wasnt much.

    Thanks guys, but I didn't ask for comments on the mount, its not mine and I didn't mount it. The thread is about the history.

    Its always nice to have history on a deer even if you aint the one that gets the privilege to harvest him!! Congrats, BTW cool trail cam angle.

    If someone was posting the history of a car with a hideous paint job, I would ask who painted it. Sorry
